Starting your Locs

Starting your Mpenzi locs starts with a consultation. In this consultation we will go over your natural hair care history, how to take care of your Mpenzi locs including maintenance, what not to do, the pricing, and lastly what you can expect on your locing day. As a new client there is a non-refundable consultation fee and a non-refundable  booking deposit that must be paid to hold your spot, however, this goes towards the total cost of your Mpenzi locs. Once you’ve scheduled your appointment we will begin preparing for your arrival by packaging your complimentary Mpenzi box. In your complimentary box you will receive snacks for your appointment, washing instructions and accessories to wash your hair properly. A sample bottle of our Mpenzi dry scalp spray. And lastly there will be an intake form to fill out with your choice of meals, movies you’d like to watch, the room temperature you want the room set to etc. Your comfort is our first priority. And making sure you have the ultimate self-care experience is our mission.
